Training Refugees In Northern Uganda
Training Refugees in Northern Uganda
Teach To Transform recently partnered with Kenyan medical students, South Sudanese pastors with E3 Partners, and Life in Abundance to bring its training to South Sudanese refugees in the Adjumani refugee camp.
It’s not a quick or easy trip, and many hours were spent traveling dirt roads. However, the rewards were many as the team was blessed to see its new friends trained this summer in the BidiBidi refugee camp. Seven South Sudanese trainers joined the TTT team to train new students with health care skills.
As it turns out, their participation was the highlight of the trip, as trainers and students from the Dinka and Nuer tribes came together in fellowship and worship for one common purpose. Ephesians 4:2-4 says, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all in all.” (NIV)
We are so thankful for the fellowship we have in Christ with our brothers and sisters around the world. Please pray for those trained to use what they have learned to share Jesus with compassion to people in their communities.
